AyA Kitchens is looking for an Industrial Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate must possess Industrial Electrician License with a minimum 3 years’ experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
- Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
- Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors
- Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage
Experience/Education:
- Must possess Industrial Electrician License
- Minimum 3 years’ experience – woodworking environment preferred
- Experience in troubleshooting PLC’s
- Experience working on CNC machines an asset
Skills:
- Able to read schematics and blue prints
- Must be able to do basic mechanical maintenance tasks
- Good command of the English language

AyA Kitchens Head Office is looking for an Industrial Millwright (Woodworking Industry) to join the manufacturing production team. The successful candidate must have an Ontario Millwright Licensed and Mechanical trade certification with a minimum 5 years experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Execute preventative maintenance work orders as per schedule
- Inspect, repair, assemble, install, adjust and do preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment. Experience in the woodworking industry an asset
- Must have knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems and installations, power transmission systems, chains, belts, gear drives
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose malfunctions and determine the need for adjustment or repair
- Read and interpret blue prints with knowledge of OEM equipment manuals to follow sketches and diagrams to perform required maintenance and service

Experience/Education:

Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee daily activities of approximately 50 hourly employees in various departments (Assembly, Panel Processing, Finishing)
